Every year around the middle of spring it becomes glaringly obvious that moms are special. Of course, most of us already know this but sometimes it is a nice reminder. Sometimes a mom’s greatest joy is having her whole family together. I have quite a few families that ask me to photograph their ever changing family once a year. Recently I took family portraits where the “kids” were adults; two in the military, and this was one of the few times that their entire family was together. The mom even mentioned to me last week how much they are still enjoying those photographs.
