The seasons keep changing
It seems that this year in particular, there's a strong desire to spend time with family. For me, I continue this holiday season, for the second time in a year, without my grandma Foster, who passed away this time last year. I also lost my mom to sunny Florida last year so she could spend more time with my younger sister. It is hard to not have those family members around who created these amazing family traditions. Sometimes I wonder, had I known that this one or that one would have been the last one, if I would have stopped to appreciate it a bit more, maybe taken more photos to remember it by. I try very hard to appreciate what I have, when I have it so maybe I wouldn't have done anything differently at all.
I am very fortunate to have an in law family too that loves me very much, so even though my family no longer spends holiday time together I still get to spend time with loved ones.
I wish each and every one of you great moments of love, little moments of pure bliss and many hours of joy.
I also wish all of you a beautiful holiday season celebrating family, faith and fun!
Much Love,
Ariniko

Holiday Card Special
This idea came to me last year and I had them created for my family's Christmas cards. I liked it so much that I decided to share. These are regular 4x6 prints but I add on just a touch extra to create lovely, simplistic family photo cards. A set of 10 are $20 and a set of 20 are $35. Call or email me if you want more information.
REO Town Pop Up Market
Many of you know me and know I wear many hats. For 3 years I have been the manager of a lovely urban space in REO Town. I have the great fortune of renting this space out to creative folks (photographers, video production, musicians, comedians) that need studio space, myself included. It has been a lot of fun being in one of Lansing's most energized creative areas. As manager of this creative space I also have the pleasure of coming up with exciting new activities in the area (being Vice Pres on the board doesn't hurt either). Last year a group of us came up with the idea of having an artisan and crafter pop-up market. The idea is that an empty space can be transformed for a day into an indoor vendor market. Last year's was so successful we decided to do it again! At my location (1133 S. Washington Ave) I'll play host to 15 creative vendors all selling their amazing products to the community. I would love if my friends and family could support this effort by stopping in and checking it out. The doors will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday December 10.
You can check out the Facebook Event Page here.
Winter Mini Session Special
My mini sessions are sometimes the perfect gift for busy families! It's a wonderful way to get professional images without a lot of fuss. Pick your favorite outside location, wear your coordinated (not matching) outfits, suggest prop ideas (or I'll bring some) and within 30 minutes we'll have a good set of images that once edited will provide you with 10-15 gorgeous digital images that you can use at your leisure. These are wonderful as gifts, cards, social media or emailing. They're yours to use as you'd like.

Thank You!!!
One of my greatest joys comes from providing a wonderful service to the community and families. When I browse through Facebook or receive Christmas Cards or even visit someone's house and notice the photographs I have created adorning their personal space, I feel very happy. I really love what I do. Thank you all again for another wonderful season of photography. I hope you all have an amazing rest of the year and a beautiful time celebrating with your loved ones.
Sincerely,
Ariniko
